According to a BBC health news report, women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) have a higher risk of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer of the lining of the womb – endometrial cancer. Symptoms of PCOS include, irregular periods, pain from cysts on the ovaries, acne, and central obesity (putting on weight around your middle)
Treatments include oral contraceptives, and metformin, a drug used to treat diabetes.

Very informative, so often, symptoms are taken lightly because of lack of knowledge.
