It is Tuesday, January 20, 2009 – The day of the Inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th president of the United States and the first black president in the history of the United States.
Washington D.C. which hosts the inaugural ceremony is a buzz with activity and excitement for this moment in history. Undoubtedly, millions, correction, billions of people will be tuning in to the ceremony on television world wide and two to three million are expected to be in attendance. This is not just a moment in American history, this is world history in the making and the entire world is watching and waiting.
There is a sense of excitement, anxiety, joy, triumph, and hope. Hope for a unity and restoration. A dream is about to become reality and one man is expected to lead a nation to lead many nations.
