Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are representative of agreements between http://www.sitesoright.com and our clients and users. These apply to all web development, software development and consultation services offered by sitesoright.com.
General
http://www.sitesoright.com will carry out work only where a documented agreement (contract) is submitted. All materials displayed or performed on the site (including, but not limited to, text, graphics, news articles, photographs, images, illustrations, audio clips and video clips, also known as the "content") are protected by copyright. Users and clients shall abide by all copyright notices, information, and restrictions contained in any content accessed through the sitesoright.com domain.
Work Schedule
Website & Software Development Projects consist of 4 Phases
- Phase 1 – the Requirements definition Phase (1 – 3 days)
Obtain client’s initial requirements and submit to the client a proposal as well as a copy of the contract to be signed by the client.
- Phase 2 - the Planning Phase (1 – 7 days)
Upon receiving a signed contract. Discussions begin concerning the specifics of layout, features, functionality etc. Talks may cover issues such as colors, logos, slogans, images, hosting, current system(s) and processes etc. Client may be required to gather and submit content / data / samples. Client is required to sign-off on design.
- Phase 3 - the Development (1 – 21 days)
Construct and Test website / software. Client reviews site / prototype. Client is required to sign-off on project.
- Phase 4 - the Implementation Phase (1 – 3 days)
Final modification and submission of CD/DVD or installation / upload of files to internet host, server / computer.
Consultation
- Phase 1 – the Requirements definition Phase (1 – 3 days)
Obtain client’s initial requirements and submit to the client a proposal as well as a copy of the contract to be signed by the client.
- Phase 2 – Consultation (hourly)
Upon receiving a signed contract, sitesoright.com will provide services as per requirements and agreement within the estimated period as per proposal.
Fees / Charges
Fees for Website & Software Development are evaluated on a per project basis.
Fees for Consultation are evaluated on an hourly basis.

Content
http://www.sitesoright.com reserves the right to refuse to handle in any way:
(a) any material which is inappropriate or unlawful, threatening, abusive, malicious, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, blasphemous, profane or otherwise objectionable in any way;
(b) any material containing a virus or other hostile computer program;
(c) any material which constitutes, or encourages the commission of, a criminal offence or which infringes any patent, trade mark, design right, copyright or any other intellectual property right or similar rights of any person which may subsist under the laws of any jurisdiction;

Copyright
http://www.sitesoright.com cannot take responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by materials submitted by the client. The designer reserves the right to refuse any material of a copyrighted nature unless adequate proof is given of permission to use such material. Users and clients shall abide by all copyright notices, information, and restrictions contained in any content accessed through the sitesoright.com website domain.
Payment
Payments can be made in cash, manager’s check, wire transfer, western union / money gram. Payments are non-refundable.
Payment Terms
Payments can be made in three parts and becomes due at the end of each phase and prior to the commencement of the next phase as outline in the work schedule.
- An initial deposit of 1/3 of the total cost is required before any design work is carried out.
- A progress payment of another 1/3 of the total is required at the end of Phase 2 (Planning Phase) and prior to the commencement of Phase 3 (Development Phase).
- A final payment of the balance is required at the end of Phase 3 and prior to the commencement of Phase 4 (Implementation).
Web Applications / Databases / E-Commerce Development
sitesoright.com cannot take responsibility for any losses incurred by the use of any software created or customized for the client. Whilst every care is taken to ensure products are problem free and accurate, the ultimate responsibility lies with the client in ensuring that all software is functioning correctly before use.
The client is expected to provide or seek any information, additional software, support or co-operation pertaining to the server required in order for the application to be correctly developed. Where large applications are to be developed, it is the clients responsibility to provide a suitable testing environment which is identical to the final production environment.
The client is expected to review and test fully any site and application or programming developed by sitesoright.com before being made generally available for use. Where "bugs", errors or other issues are found after the site/application goes live, sitesoright.com will endeavor (but is not obliged to) to correct these issues to meet the standards of function outlined in the proposal.
Website Hosting Provider
sitesoright.com does not provide web hosting services and no guarantees can be made as to the availability or interruption of your hosting service. While sitesoright.com may advise on recommended website hosts and domain registration and assist in acquisition and configuration, sitesoright.com cannot accept liability for losses caused by the unavailability, malfunction or interruption of these services, or for loss of turnover, sales, revenue, profits or indirect, consequential or special loss.
Site linking
A link will be placed on the clients website linking back to the sitesoright.com website. The link will be place in such a position as to not be in the way, on the client’s website. The link will usually be placed at the very bottom of each page below any body text depending on the site design. This link is mandatory and must be displayed.
